What It Is

The seventh house governs committed partnership, close one-on-one relationships, contracts, and the way you meet yourself in the face of another. It is the house directly across the chart from the Ascendant, and that opposition is meaningful: the seventh house describes what you encounter when you step outside the orbit of self.

What It Represents

The seventh house is often called the house of partnership, and it is. But it is more precisely the house of the significant other, in whatever form that takes.
